Linda Cardellini
Linda Edna
Cardellini (born June 25 1975) is an American actress. She is well-known for
her roles as a teenager in Freaks and Geeks (1999-2000), ER (2003-09),
Bloodline (2015-17) and Dead to Me (2019-present). This latter role earned her
a nomination to the Primetime Emmy Award in Outstanding Lead Actress in the
field of a Comedy Series. She was also part of the cast of Mad Men (2013-15),
where she was nominated to win a Primetime Emmy Award. Her voice work includes
the animated show Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated, Regular Show (2012-15),
Gravity Fall (2012-16), Sanjay and Craig (2013-16). In films, Cardellini is
known best for her role as Velma Dinkley in Scooby-Doo (2002) and its sequel
Scooby-Doo 2 Monsters Unleashed (2004) as well as her secondary parts in
Legally Blonde (2001), Brokeback Mountain (2005), Grandma's Boy (2006), Kill
the Irishman (2011), Avengers Age of Ultron (2015), The Founder (2016), Green
Book, A Simple Favor (both 2018), and Avengers: Endgame (2019). Return (2011)
was a huge success and earned her an Independent Spirit Award nomination for
the Best Female Lead. She was also in comedy Daddy's Home (2015), Daddy's Home
2 (2017) as well as the horror film The Curse of La Llorona (2018). Cardellini
was born in Redwood City, California, the daughter of Lorraine Cardellini , a
homemaker as well as Wayne David Cardellini, a businessman.
