Lea Katherine Thompson


Thompson was born on May 31st 1961, in Rochester (Minnesota) Thompson was born in Minnesota, one of five children born to Clifford Barry Thompson who was a famous musician. She is the sister of Coleen Goodrich, Shannon Katona and Barry Katona. Her mother is Irish. Mikhail Baryshnikov was at that time the artistic director. He told her "You are a beautiful dancer but your body isn't a good fit." This was her "epiphany" that she said that was the point that made me decide to quit dancing and stop being an ballet dancer.    Heelan was born in Andover (Massachusetts) to Kimball Heelan, actress and Lowell Public Schools teacher, and Kevin Heelan playwright. Conor is her older brother. His father is a professional dramatist who has been an instructor at the Phillips Andover Academy teacher since 1983.
