Markie Post

Markie Post was born in Walnut Creek, California. Her first professional work was in television and film productions like "Card Sharks" (1978) or "The New Card Sharks” (1986). Then, she created projects such as Double Dare (1976). She has also appeared in TV shows such as 1st to Die (2003) and E! True Hollywood Story (1996), Electra Woman (2001), and Dyna Girl (2001). Her most notable TV role was that of "Christine Sullivan" in Night Court (1984). She was in the show's 156 episodes from 1984 to 1992. Marylee (Armstrong) Post is her daughter. She was a poet, and well-known nuclear physicist Richard Freeman Post (November 14 1918 until April 7 15th, 2015). Alongside her second husband Michael A. Ross, she had two children: Katie Ross (born June 26 June 26, 1986) and Daisy Ross (30 March 1990). She was born in Palo alto, California and grew up close to Walnut Creek, California. She was a cheerleader at Las Lomas High School in Walnut Creek, California. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Lewis & Clark College, Portland Oregon. She performed trick roping at The Wildest West Show of the Stars (1986). Her ashes were later returned home to Michael A. Ross, her husband. She was a long-time Democrat. Markie Post, who was three months away from her 71st birthday on the 4th of November, 2021, died on the 7th of August. She was just 27 days from Charles Robinson, Night Court (1984) which was her co-star , who died on July 11, 2020. Even though they were entirely different shows Night Court (1984), in which she was a co-star, ended in 1992 with Christine Sullivan leaving for Washington DC. Hearts Afire (1992) the show, in which Post was a new character, Georgie Lahti (who, incidentally, had been employed in Washington DC before moving to the smaller city) The film was first released in.
