Sofia Margarita Vergara

Sofia Margarita Vergara (Spanish: Born on 10th July 1972) is a Colombian-American actor as well as a television producer, presenter, and model. Vergara was the highest-paid actress in American television between 2013 to 2020.Vergara became famous after hosting two television shows for Spanish-language television channel Univision in the mid-90s. Chasing Papi (2003) was her first major acting role in English. Then, she was in Four Brothers (2006) and Tyler Perry's comedy Come To Jail (2008). She was nominated for an ALMA Award for the former. Her mother Margarita Vergara de Vergara was a housewife, while her father Julio Enrique Vergara Robayo worked as a cattle rancher in meat industry. By her five siblings, as well as many of her cousins, she was named "Toti". Vergara was a student for three years studying dental school at the National University of Colombia.
