Emily Swallow

American actress Emily Swallow, born December 18th 1979. She is well-known for her roles as Kim Fischer on The Mentalist and as Amara The Darkness in the eleventh season of Supernatural. She also is famous for her character of The Armorer in The Mandalorian, the Star Wars live-action series The Mandalorian. Emily was also an integral part of the game video The Last of Us Part II. Swallow was born December 18 1979, in Washington, D.C. Her family was raised in Sterling, Virginia, as also in Jacksonville, Florida. She started acting in the Stanton College Preparatory School, Jacksonville as studying at the time. She graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor's degree in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Virginia, and afterward, she pursued an MFA in Acting at New York University's Tisch School for the Arts.Swallow began her career in Broadway theatre which she acted in numerous productions including High Fidelity, King Lear, The Taming of the Shrew, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof at the Guthrie Theater, Much Ado About Nothing for Shakespeare in the Park, as well as the world premieres of off-Broadway productions Romantic Poetry and Measure for Pleasure.In 2008, Swallow made her film debut in the military drama The Lucky Ones. She was the star of the world premieres of Donald Margulies’ play The Country House at Los Angeles’ Geffen Playhouse. She also played opposite Mark Rylance in Louis Jenkinsthe play Nice Fish at Guthrie Theatre. [citation needed] In 2010 she was awarded the Falstaff Award as best female performer for her role in The Taming of the Shrew. She also performed alongside Jac Huberman in Jac N Swallow's musical Romantic Poetry at the Manhattan Theater Club. The show is about the hilarious adventures of Jac Huberman and her friend Swallow in their battle with very different challenges in their lives with varying degrees.
