Alona Tal

Alona Tal, an Israeli-American singer and actress was born on October 20th, 1983 in Herzliya, Israel. She began her career as a soldier in the Israeli Defense Forces. In 2003 she starred in an Israeli film. This was her big break. She was also a part of two Israeli television shows at that time. She tried her hand at recording songs in collaboration with Subliminal who is an Israeli rapper. Tal was able to move in with her sister in New York to take a vacation from her professional life. She teamed up with Haitian artist Wyclef Jean in the song "Party to Damascus". American television was where she established herself. Her first role was a regular one on the television series Veronica Mars. Later, Tal was offered a regular part in the CBS series. He was a part of two TV programs in Israel before shifting to New York. Recorded a song with singer Wyclef Jean. Hebrew is her mother tongue. Second place in the auditions for the role as Veronica Mars (2004). The auditions were initially unsuccessful, and she was Rob Thomas' second choice. Thomas loved her so much that he designed the recurring character of Meg Manning just for her. She was a member of the Israel Defense Forces. Both her parents are Jewish--her father is Turkish/Jewish and her mother is Polish/Jewish. She plays the daughter of Adrian Monk's wife, who was killed in the finale of the season finale of Monk (2002).Has had a daughter named Charlie Ferraez (b.March 7, 2017) and her husband Marcos A. Ferraez.
