Daniel Hernandez was born in Bushwick, Brooklyn on May 8, 1996. He had his mother who was from Atlixco (Mexico) and his father from Rio Piedras (Puerto Rico). [14][15] His father is also known as Daniel Hernandez. [16] His mother, Natividad Perez-Hernandez, came to the U.S. in 1988 to search for a better life and a better job; she was an employee in a factory as well as a house cleaner. Hernandez played baseball and soccer throughout his youth. When he was 13 years old, Hernandez was assigned to a major-league soccer squad. His mother refused because she wasn't sure who would take her child at such a young age. Hernandez has an older brother, Oscar Osiris Hernandez (born August 25, 1994). Hernandez has his first name tattooed on his right head. Hernandez as well as his older brother Oscar were raised in a church throughout their childhood. Hernandez would sing during Mass and was picked several times to read from the Bible, his favorite verse was Psalm 121. In elementary school, he attended Public School 59, for middle school, he attended Juan Morel Campos Secondary School and for high school, he went to Legacy High School. He was a high school graduate in the tenth grade. He did not have any involvement with any significant relationship. However, there is a daughter who lives with one of his co-workers. His daughter's name and the name of her mother are not public. Harnandez is known to give money to schools in Brooklyn. He has some disturbing criminal charges against him. In 2017, he pleaded guilty to a felony count of 'Use of an Child in Sexual Performance' (he has three criminal charges against him). He uploaded three videos to his Instagram account in 2015 showing him and another man with a girl who was 13-14 years old. Later in 2017, he spoke about the case in an interview with 'DJ Akademics and claimed that he was 17 (a minor) at the time of the incident and confessed that he uploaded the videos to his Instagram account, which was removed. Later, he was proven to be incorrect in his assertion that he was 17 at the time of the incident. He pleaded guilty and was ordered to obtain his GED. He was liable to a jail sentence if he did not obtain his GED.
